FASFA: I live alone, how do I fill it out without putting my parents information?
February 22nd, 2012
Unless you’re over 24, married, have children, are in the army, already have a bachelor’s degree, are an orphan, a ward of the court or were legally emancipated before the age of 18 then you must include your parents’ information on the FAFSA.
Simply living on your own does not make you an independent student for financial aid purposes.
